On October 17th 10 tech startups who recently completed a three-month Ping An Cloud accelerator program showcased their business models at the D-day event in Shenzhen, China. The cohort, who used the past three months to develop and upgrade their product and technology, was originally chosen from a group of 120 international competitors that included US-based Gliding Eagle.
Gliding Eagle, a systems and data technology company, uses Blockchain technology to help manufacturers and brands around the world better track their products. Every transaction made, from the producer till the consumer, is locked into Blockchain, ensuring data accuracy and allowing manufacturers to track the revenue and volume of global trade for their product.
Currently, Gliding Eagle’s technology is used by wineries that ship internationally and American pharmaceutical companies that deliver pharma drugs to China.
“D-day marks the culmination of all the hard work our 10 innovative companies have accomplished within the last three months. They were able to bring their cutting-edge solutions to Ping An’s businesses, clients, and ecosystem and most importantly, Ping An Cloud was the base platform for these initiatives. As a result, they demonstrated that their solutions are scalable and can truly create value for their customers,” said Ricky Ou.
The other cohort companies celebrated are: UBiAi Technology from Beijing, The CareVoice from Shanghai, Velotrade from Hong Kong, Funding Xchange from UK, Canopy Cloud and HedgeSPA from Singapore, Kangpe from Nigeria, vPhrase from India, and FonePay from Pakistan.
