Each year Direct Selling News, a magazine that brings together direct sellers to millions of independent business owners, recognizes successful direct selling companies with the Global 100 list. Companies are chosen based on revenue and this year hemp lifestyle company, California-based Kannaway, made the 2019 list with $60 million in revenue for 2018, an increase of 200 percent from the prior year.
The Global 100 list offers perspective on the impact that industry has on the economic and social realms around the world. This year’s list featured companies from 20 different countries with an aggregate revenue of over $75 billion. Researchers, investors, and job-seekers with an interest in the various industries value the list, helping them discover market opportunities to pursue.
Kannaway, the first hemp lifestyle network, a subsidiary of Medical Marijuana Inc., the first publicly traded cannabis company, sells cannabidiol hemp botanical products, achieving record accomplishments and international expansion over the years.
“Each year, the DSN Global 100 event allows us to recognize the leading companies in direct selling today,” said Todd Eliason, Direct Selling News’s Publisher and Editor in Chief. “The companies on the list represent a wide range of products and services, but they share a passion for developing a community of independent business owners who share those products and services with customers in their personal networks. It is a unique and powerful distribution channel.”
